Large slab of the ultra rare Upper Devonian glass sponge fossil Uphantaenia chemungensis. Collected July 21st 2002 in Danby, NY. Now on display at Myers Gardens on Michigan Hollow Rd.

A blast from the past- the big find. This slab was collected with the help of my good friend Wayne Myers. It is the crowning achievement of my fossil collecting career.
