Buffalo Geological Society Newsletter- December, 2017

The Buffalo Geological Society Newsletter for December features the December 1st Annual Holiday Pot Luck Dinner and Silent Auction, the BGS Continuing Education Forum on November 29 featuring siliconized Ordovician Trilobites of Virginia by Wayne Davey, the BGS Fossil Trip to Cincinnati in April, 2018 and the BGS Mineral Show on March 24-25.

Buffalo Geological Society Newsletter- November, 2017

The Buffalo Geological Newsletter for November features the November 3rd meeting with Heather McCarthy speaking on the the schist of Garnet Hill in Roxbury CT compared to other schist on the East Coast.  Also the Continuing Ed Forum on October 25 focused on Eurypterids and the next meeting is November 29. The BGS Holiday Pot Luck and Silent Auction is December 3.

Buffalo Geological Society Continuing Ed Program is November 29 at 8:30am and the program at 9:45am at the Sweet Home Masonic Hall at 641 Sweet Home Road in Eggertsville.Breakfast is served at no charge. Open to all members – come and join us!

Buffalo Geological Society Pot Luck and Silent Auction – December 1, 2017- Buffalo, NY

The Buffalo Geological Society  Pot Luck and Silent Auction  is December 1st with setup at 6pm, dinner at 6:30pm and the silent auction starting at 7:30pm. Bring a dish to pass, place settings and your auction items, 10 items.

Held at the Heritage Discovery Center, 100 Lee Street, Buffalo.


Buffalo Geological Field Trip to Cincinnati -April 26-29, 2018
